Stop the slaughter now!

While millions upon millions take to the streets throughout the world demanding an end to the Israeli onslaught against the Palestinian Arabs in the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continue their ground and air attacks on targets including hospitals and other medical facilities. The US media say that Hamas is ready to release captive Israeli women and children in exchange for Palestinian children currently held in Israeli jails.

Struggling for the future of Ukraine!

A successful ‘hybrid’ meeting took place in central London and on Zoom last Sunday on the topic ‘The struggle against Banderite fascism and the future of Ukraine’, with speakers from Britain, Ireland, Ukraine, the Russian Federation and Poland. The event was organised by International Ukraine Anti-Fascist Solidarity.

Sunak shuffles his pack

The Prime Minister reshuffled his pack on Monday. Suella Braverman is out, David Cameron is in, while Sunak played musical chairs with the Cabinet to create a new ministerial team he clearly hopes will reverse the Tories’ flagging fortunes in time for the general election next year. Sacking Braverman was the easy part. Bringing Cameron back from the political wilderness is more problematic.
